(no subject)

So.

I have a work name I'm for professional reasons after classes.

Easy enough to remember but not connected to mine.

And for some reason, my girlfriends and my mother have all started using my work name, as if it were a long standing nickname.

(They've never heard the work name before)

Should I be concerned?

Yes, probably.

Engage panic mode.

If you're not careful, you'll be replaced by someone whose name was always your work name.

I'm being half-sarcastic but that is something that'll probably happen.

A you that's always had that name.
likesand_inaglass: A 1. This is a normal state of affairs. (Really?)

I mean, either that, or you suddenly have a twin sister that has your original name while your name is now your work name.

Considering people are calling you that name without having heard it in the first place?

Weirder things can happen.

Spatial distortion.
