I have a work name I'm for professional reasons after classes.

Easy enough to remember but not connected to mine.

And for some reason, my girlfriends and my mother have all started using my work name, as if it were a long standing nickname.

(They've never heard the work name before)

Should I be concerned?

If you're not careful, you'll be replaced by someone whose name was always your work name.

I'm being half-sarcastic but that is something that'll probably happen.
